Reflection on the Course

The type of writing I found the most challenging was the How To articles because in those articles I had to have everything you needed listed and how to do everything precisely, if not the person doing the wheelie could very easily injured or worse.

The type of writing I found the easiest was the persuasive essay because I think I am pretty good at being persuasive while just talking to someone. http://blackvillewriting68.blogspot.com/2010/05/how-to-do-wheelie-on-three-wheeler.html. This piece of writing is what I am the most proud of because I can pull a nice wheelie and I think I explained how to do one quite simply.

http://blackvillewriting68.blogspot.com/2010/04/finding-forrester-movie-review.html. This link will take you to the movie review I did and I wish I could redo this because there are some things I would have changed if I had of seen them earlier in the year, but this year is almost over so there is no sense in going back to the past to redo it.

I did find the peer assessments helpful because it always helps to have someone else look over your work to find errors and spelling mistakes and grammar mistakes. The assessments did help me when doing my final copy and revision because I could just follow what other people said. I did also enjoy assessing other peoples work. In the blog entry Writing Inventory I stated that my weakness was that it takes me a while to come up with ideas to write about, and yes I feel I have improves oin that weakness because I can come up with a good idea to write about quickly now.

The three most enjoyable activities I did in this course was using the computers almost every class. Not being in the classroom was also enjoyable, and not having many projects to do was enjoyable. Three least enjoyable activities I did in this course were having to write, edit the videos, and acting in the videos.

The Three Wheeler, How It Is Useful

The three wheeler is a part of history that was band form being made, why, because the government said they were to unsafe, but they aren't. The three wheeler is useful in many ways.

One way it is useful is when you are turning you don't need reverse you turn right around on a dime. A four wheeler you need reverse because the two wheels on the front taker up more space then the one wheel on the front. Another way a three wheeler is useful is when you want to do some yard work you can drive on top of the grass without destroying it because the wheels on a three wheeler are quite wide.

Another way a three wheeler is useful is when you want to go down narrow biking trails you can go because the three wheeler is narrower then the four wheeler. A three wheeler is also useful for when you want to do a wheelie because a four wheeler is usually too heavy.

Another way a three wheeler is useful is when you have to work on them because on a four wheeler everything is underneath a plastic cover, on a three wheeler everything is in plain sight. which is cheaper for you and easier for you.

A three wheeler can also be dangerous though because when two people is on the bike the front end gets really light on the steering so when you go around a turn you have to slow down. But on the other hand I never usually have two people on my three wheeler so I usually never have that problem.

The three wheeler is a great piece of history that is obsolete. So when you when you want to pull a wheelie on your four wheeler and can't remember you should have a three wheeler instead, or when your biking trail is grown over some and you can't make it through remember you should buy a three wheeler. You can't buy a new one now, but you can always buy a good second hand three wheeler. The three wheeler is useful in many ways. Three wheelers are just as safe as four wheelers in my opinion and the ban of making them should be removed. Three wheelers are legal to own, but you can not get insurance on them, but you can register them. Three wheelers are just as safe as a four wheeler.

"The Penny" Analysis

http://www.teenink.com/opinion/all/article/9920/The-Penny/

The title of this article is "The Penny". I found this article on the website http://www.teenink.com/. The author of the article is Paul S., the last name is not stated. The opening paragraph does contain a thesis and the thesis is to take penny's out of the money system because they are useless. The opening paragraph did catch my attention because it is written about money and I really like money. The article contains three paragraphs. All of the paragraphs do relate to the thesis because all three paragraphs are written about the penny and what it serves for. No the writer does not use information or any other sources to prove their point it is just proven by the way it is written. The writer does not present other sides to the argument it is only about one thing and that is taking the penny out of the money system. The writer has convinces me that the penny is worthless because a penny can't buy you nothing anymore. Something else that the writer could have mentioned to help back up his statement is that the penny is only worth a cent and it isn't worth making. I cannot think of a counter argument that the writer could have used. I did find the conclusion effective because it is the way it is worded. Ad it is: "When was the last time you bought something with a penny or countes out pennies to buy something? I thougth so." I did not find any grammar or spelling errors while reading the article. I did like the article because of the way it was worded.
