Reflection on the Course

The type of writing I found the most challenging was the How To articles because in those articles I had to have everything you needed listed and how to do everything precisely, if not the person doing the wheelie could very easily injured or worse.

The type of writing I found the easiest was the persuasive essay because I think I am pretty good at being persuasive while just talking to someone. http://blackvillewriting68.blogspot.com/2010/05/how-to-do-wheelie-on-three-wheeler.html. This piece of writing is what I am the most proud of because I can pull a nice wheelie and I think I explained how to do one quite simply.

http://blackvillewriting68.blogspot.com/2010/04/finding-forrester-movie-review.html. This link will take you to the movie review I did and I wish I could redo this because there are some things I would have changed if I had of seen them earlier in the year, but this year is almost over so there is no sense in going back to the past to redo it.

I did find the peer assessments helpful because it always helps to have someone else look over your work to find errors and spelling mistakes and grammar mistakes. The assessments did help me when doing my final copy and revision because I could just follow what other people said. I did also enjoy assessing other peoples work. In the blog entry Writing Inventory I stated that my weakness was that it takes me a while to come up with ideas to write about, and yes I feel I have improves oin that weakness because I can come up with a good idea to write about quickly now.

The three most enjoyable activities I did in this course was using the computers almost every class. Not being in the classroom was also enjoyable, and not having many projects to do was enjoyable. Three least enjoyable activities I did in this course were having to write, edit the videos, and acting in the videos.

The Three Wheeler, How It Is Useful

The three wheeler is a part of history that was band form being made, why, because the government said they were to unsafe, but they aren't. The three wheeler is useful in many ways.

One way it is useful is when you are turning you don't need reverse you turn right around on a dime. A four wheeler you need reverse because the two wheels on the front taker up more space then the one wheel on the front. Another way a three wheeler is useful is when you want to do some yard work you can drive on top of the grass without destroying it because the wheels on a three wheeler are quite wide.

Another way a three wheeler is useful is when you want to go down narrow biking trails you can go because the three wheeler is narrower then the four wheeler. A three wheeler is also useful for when you want to do a wheelie because a four wheeler is usually too heavy.

Another way a three wheeler is useful is when you have to work on them because on a four wheeler everything is underneath a plastic cover, on a three wheeler everything is in plain sight. which is cheaper for you and easier for you.

A three wheeler can also be dangerous though because when two people is on the bike the front end gets really light on the steering so when you go around a turn you have to slow down. But on the other hand I never usually have two people on my three wheeler so I usually never have that problem.

The three wheeler is a great piece of history that is obsolete. So when you when you want to pull a wheelie on your four wheeler and can't remember you should have a three wheeler instead, or when your biking trail is grown over some and you can't make it through remember you should buy a three wheeler. You can't buy a new one now, but you can always buy a good second hand three wheeler. The three wheeler is useful in many ways. Three wheelers are just as safe as four wheelers in my opinion and the ban of making them should be removed. Three wheelers are legal to own, but you can not get insurance on them, but you can register them. Three wheelers are just as safe as a four wheeler.

"The Penny" Analysis

http://www.teenink.com/opinion/all/article/9920/The-Penny/

The title of this article is "The Penny". I found this article on the website http://www.teenink.com/. The author of the article is Paul S., the last name is not stated. The opening paragraph does contain a thesis and the thesis is to take penny's out of the money system because they are useless. The opening paragraph did catch my attention because it is written about money and I really like money. The article contains three paragraphs. All of the paragraphs do relate to the thesis because all three paragraphs are written about the penny and what it serves for. No the writer does not use information or any other sources to prove their point it is just proven by the way it is written. The writer does not present other sides to the argument it is only about one thing and that is taking the penny out of the money system. The writer has convinces me that the penny is worthless because a penny can't buy you nothing anymore. Something else that the writer could have mentioned to help back up his statement is that the penny is only worth a cent and it isn't worth making. I cannot think of a counter argument that the writer could have used. I did find the conclusion effective because it is the way it is worded. Ad it is: "When was the last time you bought something with a penny or countes out pennies to buy something? I thougth so." I did not find any grammar or spelling errors while reading the article. I did like the article because of the way it was worded.

The Letter

Dear family,

As I drove in to the state of Georgia I drove to house I bought in Jacksonville. Jacksonville is a real nice little town it's only about 3 kilometers bigger then Blackville. I think I am going to like it here. It looks like the little sleepy towns you guys watch on the old westerns back home.

I hope to see you guys here soon. I think I might come home for the rest of my belongings, then I will be coming back to Jacksonville, Georgia. I am going to buy a new vehicle tomorow just to let you guys now back at home.

I hop this letter makes home before I do because I will be quite a long time driving home in this old Ford F150 thats worn completely out. Well I got to get back to work so I will see you guys in about two months

Vacation!

As I look over to my right I see the 4 three wheelers sitting there idling and as I walk up to one of them the owner came over and asked so do you like this one? I answered yes i do. The owner said here these are all yours. So there I am with 4 three wheelers.

Me and 3 of my friends decide to go on vacation with the three wheelers. We decide to go to Alberta and got to the Edmonton Mall out there. So we pack up some of our clothes and food and we leave.

As we get out on to the Plaster Rock highway we open the bikes up to get rolling and to make some good time. We pull in to the border Irving the border that separates Quebec from New Brunswick and we go in and get some supper and some gas for the bikes. So we get out on the trails and head for Alberta.

As we are on our travels we see a lot of nature and wildlife. So as we go through Ontario I can smell the smog which hovers above the city of Toronto. As we get through Ontario we make it into the province of Manitoba. I heard all kinds of things there, I heard the bikes running and i heard the sounds of horns, and jake brakes from trucks and birds chirping.

So as we make it into Alberta we go straight to the Edmonton Mall and we shut off the three wheelers and go in. When we enter the mall we are astonished by what the mall has there. There are rides as high as 60 feet in the air. So we go on almost everything there, which was great excitement. So as we start on our way home my engine blew up in my three wheeler. It has been quite a trip...

How To Do A Wheelie On A Three Wheeler

First of all when you go to pull a wheelie on a three wheeler you have to know how to drive a three wheeler. Once you get used to your three wheeler and get to know how it handles then you can pull a wheelie. When you go to pull a wheelie you first of all stand up and put your right knee on the seat and keep your left leg down by the shifter then you haul up on the bike and hit the throttle at the same time.

Once you get the front end up in the air next you want to try to keep the bike in that position for a short time. You do this by letting off the throttle and hitting it again multiple times really quick.

Next you should try to shift the bike in the middle of the wheelie because the bike will start to rev out. You do this by letting off the throttle and shifting very quickly. This is a hard thing to do though because usually when you let off the throttle the bike comes back down. That is how tyo do a wheelie on a three wheeler. Remember though only do this when you get to know how the three wheeler handles first.

Interview with Rascal Flatts

Video Link: http: http://http//www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8gOXPc0MgI

This video is very effective. As the singer starts to talk the camera narrows in on the person talking. It is also effective in the way that you can hear the people in the band talking their voices aren't' to low. I really like this interview because it makes me laugh at the appropriate times. The shooting techniques are effective too, I was surprised when it showed that the camera was just on a tri-pod because it still is an audience grabber because every so often it will zoom in and out once really quick.

Video would be really effective in my section of the online school newspaper because with news and features it is hard to show an interview or a video through words.

Finding Forrester Movie Review

Finding Forrester is a movie that is a drama. It is a great movie. The director of the movie is Gus Van Sant, and the producers of the movie are Johnathon King, Dany Wolf, Thomas Sean Connery, Rhonda Tollefson and Laurence Mark. The main actors in this movie Finding Forrester are Sean Connery as William Forrester, Rob Brown as Jamal Wallace, Anna Paquin as Claire Spence, and Busta Rhymes as Terrell Wallace.

Finding Forrester is a movie that catches your attention right off the bat. When the directors made this film they knew what they were doing. Here is a little summery of the movie.

A boy named Jamal Wallace who lives in the Bronx with his mother and his brother Terrell Wallace is getting bad grades in school. Jamal is great at basketball so he spends most of his time playing that with his friends instead of paying attention to his school work. When it comes time for an I.Q. test Jamal scores really high grades on this and then a private prep school catches wind of this and asks him to go to their school and they will not charge him to get the education. Jamal accepts the invitation from the school and gets on a basketball team.

Jamal Wallace makes a new friend and his name is William Forrester a famous author and Jamal does not know this. Latter on in the movie Forrester shows up at Jamal's school to read a piece of writing that Jamal wrote and the teacher Professor Crawford asks Forrester if he would take up a position in the teachers board, then Forrester tells them that the piece of writing he had just read was the writing of Jamal Wallace.

William Forrester leaves to go back to his homeland in Scotland after reading Jamal's writing to the class. About two days after Forrester leaves his lawyer comes to the school to speak with Jamal and tells him that William Forrester has passed away and Forrester wanted his friend Jamal Wallace to have everything he owned. William Forrester died of cancer and he never told Jamal about this because he didn't want to get him upset.

This film is an extraordinary film. When you watch this you get a sense that you are actually in the Bronx watching it as it happens. This film was a very successful film it has 4 wins and 8 nominations. This film was a great success just like these movies directed by Gus Van Sant: Drugstore Cowboy, My Own Private Idaho, To Die For, Psycho, Last Days. These movies were all a great success partially because they were high budget films, but I think it is more to do with who the director.

The quality of the movie Finding Forrester is really good. For the setting I find that it actually sounds and looks just like the Bronx, bad and dirty. I'm not trying to stereotype, but it's the the truth. The quality of the acting in this film is just about perfect the actors are great in this movie nobody else could have done it better. The quality of the conflict is clear what i think that the conflict is man versus himself. The quality of the music in Finding Forrester is good also every bit of music fits every part of the movie perfectly.

I find that the movie does get the point across to the audience effectivley without a problem. The message of the film is to do the best you can in every aspect of life because you never know what lies around the next turn.

The Zombieland Movie Review I Chose

The movie review I chose was the review about the well known Zombieland movie directed by Ruben Fleischer. In the movie the two main characters are Columbus and Tallahassee and Columbus heads out to find his family in Columbus, Ohio and Tallahassee starts out on his to Tallahassee, Florida.

The reason I chose this movie review was because it caught my attention and I like this movie because it is funny and it has good actors in it. This movie review gives a lengthy, but good review of the movie and that to me is what makes a good movie review. Another reason why I chose this movie review because it is a long movie, but it doesn't let you get board. This movie review gives basically the whole movie in a summary in about 3 1/2 paragraphs.

This movie review can be found at: http://www.cinemablend.com/dvds/Zombieland-4191.html

Making a Poem

It is hard for me to make a poem
I don't like making poems
I find it is boring to make poems because I am not good at it
It is hard to make a poem up right on the spot because when I think of a poem I think it has to rhyme

View on Life

My View on life
Live every day like it's your last
Cherish every moment of life
Don't have regrets have good memories
Don't let people rage about you when you go let them think about you and smile
In life you should be able to do what you want
In life don't look back on the past, but look ahead to the future
Because you only live life once

Because I'm High

Because I'm high I will probably do something stupid
Because I'm high I will probably get injured
Because I'm high I realize my real life sucks
As I start to come of the high I start to feel sick
Oh no I took an allergic reaction from the pot
I go to the hospital and realize as I lay there
I don't need pot to make me feel good
All I need is a little bit of confidence

When The Rain Falls

When the rain falls I feel dismal
When the rain falls I feel discouraged
When the rain falls I get angry
When the rain falls I feel alone
As I lay there in bed and listen to the rain beating down on my cardboard box I feel like a hobo

The Journal Entry of King Hammurabi

In the year of 1728 BC I was elected the king of early Mesopotamia and during the year of 1686 BC I was discharged form politics and another king was chosen. I have done lots for the people of Mesopotamia, I have built irrigation canals, public buildings, and I also repaired some temples and city walls.

I was not a great state builder though because there were not very many state buildings around that I could model mine from. For about the first 25 years of my reign, Babylonia was the victim much pressure form neighboring cities and countries. I chose to follow a totalitarian approach to governance.

I think I was the most recognized ruler in history of early Mesopotamia, well if I'm not I should be. I invented the Code of Hammurabi or the Code Law. This was a collection of laws and edits from Babylonia during the mid 18th century BC. If the people did not follow these line of laws then they had some serious consequences to pay, they way I saw it was like an eye for an eye, or a finger for a finger. The codification is not mine, but I took the name and changed it around and called it the Code of Hammurabi.

Well it's time for me to go because I'm going to go die now so I hope I will be thought of for years to come.

The Christmas Story

It was exactly one week before Christmas day and poor little Johnny was so excited for Christmas because this was his first Christmas with a real family, Johnny is 10 years old. Johnny was an adoption child before his adoption family came and got him 2 weeks before Christmas. Like the story says Johnny was excited for Christmas and he could not wait for all the presents he was going to see under that great big green Christmas tree.

So as the days went on Johnny woke up more excited then the last. So finally one day when Johnny woke he realized it was Christmas Day so he ran into his parents room to get them up, but he found an empty bed, so he ran down stairs thinking they were already up, but as he ran down he found the Christmas tree gone and all the presents under it were gone. Johnny was so upset he didn't know what to do so he phoned the police and said his parents were missing and the Christmas tree was gone along with all the presents under it. The dispatch officer on the opposite end of the line as Johnny was his mother, but Johnny didn't know this. She said to Johnny that one of our units are on the way, so Johnny said thank you and he hung up the phone and waited.

As the hours passed Johnny waited, but nobody showed up, Johnny found this suspicious, like they were up to something. Then all of a sudden the door bell rang and Johnny ran over to see who it was, and when he opened the door his family was standing there with a big smile, and the Christmas tree was with them along with all the presents that were under it the night before.

So as Johnny celebrated Christmas with his family, they sang Christmas Carrol's. After they sang some Christmas Carrol's they all went into the kitchen and looked at the table and the whole family saw the same thing. What they all saw was a 5 course meal including turkey smothered in gravy, potatoes, carrots, homemade rolls, and turnips drowned in butter. All this was prepared by the overly waged chef who was Chef Gordan Ramsey.

The whole thing with his parents leaving and taking the Christmas tree and all the presents with them was to see how mature their new foster son Johnny was, it also turned out into being a prank for the parents it was quite funny for them. When Johnny's parents left they wanted to see how mature their foster son was , and it turned out that Johnny for being a 10 year old was just as mature as a 13 year old would be if they were in the same predicament.

Influence Change - To Kill A Mockingbird

The well known novel To Kill A Mockingbird written by Harper Lee could influence for either the good or bad. It could influence for the good because someone might have a child that is into guns and killing birds and squirrels and then once they read the book they will see that shooting birds like the mockingbird and the moose bird is bad luck, it is bad luck to shoot a mockingbird because they don't do nothing wrong, but they just make beautiful music for everyone to listen to. Shooting a moose bird is bad luck because the "old timers" say that moose birds are the souls of dead lumberjacks.

The novel To Kill A Mockingbird also has a movie made after it. The movie is not as good, but oh well. The novel could influence a brother and sister to act like Jem and Scout Finch, that is not a bad thing, but it might not be a real good thing either especially in this day and age, because the children are quite mean and rude these days, so they would probably be made fun of by other children.

The novel could influence a boy for the worse because he might try to be like Jem. That is a bad thing because Jem gets into shooting guns at birds and squirrels, and then the child might change to shooting at people with pellet guns and then with a shot gun and then eventually he will start shooting with a rifle and when that happens they will probably be going to prison for murder.

That is my opinion on how the novel To Kill A Mockingbird could influence a change on life as it is today

5 Out of 10

*Worst or Best Day*
My best day that probably could have happened to me this week was yesterday, March 24,2010. What happened on this day? Well it started off the same as any other morning got up got dressed. Then my father got up and said to me lets go get that Ski-Doo we seen on Kijiji, so I said,"ya okay" not thinking he was serious, but what do you know 2 hours later my father and me were on our way to get the Ski-Doo Formula Plus 580. When we got home with the Ski-Doo I tried it out and I really liked the rush I got from the Ski-Doo. This Ski-Doo will travel along around 110 miles per hour, the Ski-Doo is red. That is probably the best thing that happened to me this week.
Winter - Love It or Hate It
Right now I am actually praying for snow because my father just bought a Ski-Doo Formula Plus 580 So I hope the snow stays for a little while yet because I will probably not get to much driving out of it. Sure it is nice to see summer come, but I can't snowmobile on the grass. I used to hate winter before my father bought the snowmobile, but it is different now because I won't be sitting in the house complaining when it is storming out, now I can be out in the snow actually having fun.
*The Perfect Mode of Transportation*
The perfect type of transportation for me would be an old 1979 Ford F150 4x4, these trucks are the best of their kind. These trucks look good, and they are tough, and can handle a lot of terrain. A 1979 Ford F150 4x4 is not a gas guzzling pig like most modern 4x4 trucks or SUV's. A 1979 Ford truck would be perfect for me because they are tough and I need a tough truck because if it breakable I will break it, they are also good for me because they look good and I like a good looking truck, this would also be perfect for me because I'm always hauling something with the four wheeler and I'm always muddin' with the four wheeler. If I had a 1979 Ford F150 4x4 I could go whenever I wanted to or haul something whenever I wanted to.
Hell and Heaven
My personal hell would be like the world is today, sometimes your up sometimes your down, the reason I chose this was because we're always being tormented by something or someone, there is always something we like that we can't have or something is being taken away form us. Heaven on the other hand would be totally different then the world as it is today. As I picture my personal heaven I see: lots of big white fluffy clouds, and as I am soring through the air I look over to my right and I see God smiling at me, saying you have done well to get here. I say back,"thank you God I couldn't have done it with out your help of me knowing I lived for something. God would say back, "come with me I will show you your room. As I walk through the door...
*Thats The Funniest Thing*
The funniest thing that ever happened to me was last winter, me and my two cousins were snowshoeing well I was the only one wearing snowshoes they both had on skiis. So we were going along across the road form my house and of course snowshoes are slippery on crust I relized that after the what I thought impossible happened. The impossible is: as we were walking along I( had my snowshoes on and they are slippery on the crust so I went down this hill and about half way down the hill one foot slipped out from under me and then went the other I went straight up in the air and my feet got all tangled up in a big mess and then I came down and when I hit I landed on my stomach and knocked the wind out of myslef. So when I wne to get up my snowshoes were all tangled up together so I fell again. So I finally got untangled, but what a job that was, but it was funny.
Nobody or anything were harmed in the making of this situation. This story is based on a true story of mine that happened in the winter of 2008-2009.

The Visit to the Village of the Morhogs

As the little boy named Joshua ran through the village of the Morhogs he stopped to visit some of his family members. As he visited his grandmother he got curious so he decided to explore his grandmother's ti pi, so as he did he found out that his grandmother had a secret dog named Johnnie, and Joshua never new about the dog, so he visited the dog and as he did he found out that the dog was really his grandmothers brother, and Joshua's grandmother's name is Susie Joe.

As he got on his travels he found his uncle Richie mowing the long grass he decided to stop and talk to uncle Richie for a minute so he did and he asked Richie how he was doing and Richie replied, "good Joshua and how about you? and Josh replied, "good well i have got to go now so I will see you later and then uncle Richie, "okay Joshua see you."

So as Josh got on his way he stopped at an old tree to climb it so as he climbed it he found an ugly looking ogre and this ogres name was Maraca Moreese and it turned out the only reason the ogre was upset was because he had hit his toe as he was climbing up into the tree, the ogre was going to build a tree house, but he couldn't now because his toe was broke. Joshua said,"that is okay you can build it when your toe gets better and then the ogre said,"I guess you are right Josh." Then they gave each other a hug and Joshua was off to explore another place.

Joshua couldn't decide whether to go home for lunch or go to his aunts for lunch so he finally decided he would go to his aunt Lucy's for lunch he started off toward Lucy's by the time Josh got there lunch was all gone, but his aunt Lucy made him a peanut butter and jam sandwich. Joshua ate the sandwich and then decided t go visit his aunt's neighbor named Johnnie boy so he did and when he got there he couldn't find Johnnie boy anywhere so hen decided to check out behind his house, when Josh did he found Johnnie boy out laying on a beach seat trying to get a tan, but he couldn't because the sun was friendly and didn't want to hurt his skin. So Joshua ran up to Johnnie boy and scared him nearly to death, Johnnie boy got up and said,"what is going on here, Joshua you scared the bejeebers out of me." Joshua just laughed and ran away.

Joshua ran over to the ice cream truck and said,"could I have a triple chocolate ice cream on a cone, please." The ice cream man said,"sure that will be 50 cents." So Joshua handed him two quarters and told the ice cream man thank you.

As Joshua walked over to his house, which is the big yellow house, Joshua was so tired he felt like he could lay down and sleep forever. Joshua didn't though he just laid down and had a nap. After he woke up he went outside and realized it was all a dream. The End

The Pig Who Fell Out the Window

Once upon a time, there were three little pigs. There was Curly. He was the oldest. There was Wurly. He was the smartest. And then there was Flo. She was the favorite pig.Their mother loved Flo the best. Curly, Wurly and Flo lived with their mother in a high-rise apartment building in New York City. There apartment was on the 75th floor. The pigs didn’t mind this because there was an elevator that opened right in front of their apartment door. It was on the days that their elevator wasn’t working, that the pigs suffered.Their little hoofs would be aching by the time they reached their apartment.Their mother would have to have little hoof baths waiting for her three little pigs when they finally reached the top. Of course, Flo always got the warmest hoof bath because she was their mother’s favorite. One day, Mama Pig sent the three pigs to the store to buy apples for their dinner. She gave them a list of items that she needed. She also gave them their allowance, and she told them that they could buy their favorite candy which they would eat for their dessert. The three pigs put on their jackets (it was winter). They put on there gloves and scarves. Next, it was time to put on their boots.Curly slipped on his bright red leather boots over his red and yellow polka dot socks.Wurly, being the most intelligent, slipped on his waterproof, fully lined boots over his white socks.Curly and Wurly were ready and waiting for there sister. She could not find her boots."Curly and Wurly," she said, "have you seen my boots?"Curly and Wurly looked at each other and then they looked at their sister."I’ll tell you where they are," said Wurly, "if you’ll give us your allowance to hold while you go and get them.""Okay," agreed Flo as she handed the boys her allowance."There are your boots, over there," said Curly. "Where?" asked Flo suspiciously."Over there!" squealed the boys as they pointed to the window in their living room."They're over there behind that curtain." Flo slowly walked toward the window. They boys followed closely behind their sister. Just as she reached the window, Curly opened thewindow and Wurly pushed Flo through. Curly and Wurly squealed with delight as they’re sister fell 75 floors. Curly and Wurly were thrilled that there plan worked. They were rid of Flo and they had her money! Luckily for Flo, she landed on a huge snow pile and was not hurt. Her brothers were not so fortunate. Mama Pig heard the commotion, ran into the living room and, when she realized what they had done, sent the boys to live with there Uncle Oscar Mayer.Uncle Oscar always knew what to do with bad little pigs. The boys protested. They were just doing Flo a favor by helping her find her boots; it wasn’t they’re fault that she was clumsy. But Mama would not listen to their excuses and off they went to Uncle Oscar’s. Flo and Mama Pig still live on the 75th floor of the apartment building in New York City, and they're very happy there. Now Flo gets her brothers’ allowance since they're not there.

How I See Hell in My Mind

I picture hell as a place of fire and demons, I picture in my mind tortured soles that were dragged down in the the firey pits of burning lava. The hell I picture is the exact opposite of heaven I picture that when someone goes to hell they come up to a large burnt gate with spikes on the top and people speared on the spikes of the gate. Then as you keep walking the devil would come up to you and welcome you into his home of fire, and skeletons, then he would show you to your room. Then after you were there for three months he will give you a survey to see how bad you hate it there.

I picture hell as hot as 1000 degrees Celsius. After you were there for ten years he would spear you on one of the spears and then he would drink your blood that is running down the spears of the gates of hell. This is how I picture hell in my mind.

The Time Capsule

The five items I have chose to put in the time capsule are:
1. My hunting knife
2. My Merle Haggard CD
3. My old MP3 player
4. A set of acoustic guitar strings
5. A 12 gauge shot gun bullet

I would put my hunting knife in the time capsule because in the year 2110 there probably won't be no such thing as hunting because hunting is becoming scarce now. Nobody in the year 2110 will probably not know what a hunting knife looks like because if there is hunting then the people of that time will probably have to with AK47 or machine guns.

I have chose my Merle Haggard CD to put in the time capsule because in the year 2110 there old country music will probably be extinct because country oldies are becoming extinct now now of the younger generations listen to them, I am the only one that I know of, and Merle Haggard is one of the best at singing them old country songs.

I have chosen to put my old MP3 player in the time capsule because in the year 2110 Mp3 players will be obsolete I know this for a fact because they are almost obsolete now. That is all I see on the streets now is Ipods, Mp4's, and Iphones.

The reason I have placed a set of acoustic guitar strings in the time capsule is because nobosy will probably never even heard tell of an acoustic guitar, it will probably all electric guitars in the year 2110.

I have chosen to put a 12 guage shot gun bullet in the time capsule is because in the year 2110 nobody will ever have seen a shot gun nor a shot gun bullet. I have chosen to put this bullet in there because this is all I use when I go hunting partiridge and they work quite well.

Letter to the Future
Dear, People of the future
Hi my name is Jarrett, in my family are four people, my mother Michelle, my father Jason, my sister Marissa, and me.
I am probably not around to read you this, so I want someone to read it for me. I think it is important for you people to remember how outgoing I am and not always texting people on mmy phone because that is all people do now a days, nobody hardly talks anymore they're all to wrapped up in all the technology of cell phones.
In the year 2010 a enormus earth quake hit the country of Haiti, and a couple of days later the aftershock hit them destroying the whole country. This affected Canada because the govenrment sent millions of dollars over to them. In the year 2010 the NB Power companmy sold out to Hydro Quebec. In the year 2009 Homehard Ware bought out Donahues Plumbing on Mainstreet Blackville.

5 Worst Restaurants

My way of choosing a good restaurant is by the taste of the food, the cost and the cleanliness of the restaurants. If a restaurants food does not taste good and the floors are dirty or if there are flies buzzing around and it is cheap then you know that the restaurant is a horrible one.

5. MacDonald's Restaurant
Now this restaurant isn't to bad, but I find that the food is usually really greasy and the burgers there, they look nothing like what they look on the large picture menus. And certain restaurants I go in there are lies buzzing around the food, after looking at those i don't really feel like eating anymore because my appetite is ruined.

4. Burger King
Whenever I go in to Burger King I usually get the burger they are known for their "Whoppers" and these burgers are cheap, and they actually look like the pictures on the menus, and their food is not always dripping with grease, but I always find that their floors are dirty, so to me this a bad restaurant.

3. Dairy Queen
I usually eat there whenever I go to town because this is a restaurant that you can see them cooking your food so you know what your eating. The prices are decent and the food isn't sopping with grease when you go to eat it. But I do find that they are slow for being a fast food restaurant and there isn't a whole lot of room in there either. So in my eyes this restaurant, it's okay.

2. A&W
I eat at A&W a lot, but I find it is quite expensive, and it is only a fast food restaurant. I find that the onion rings there are really crumbly and the restaurant is usually really cold inside. The floors are really clean and the restaurant is fast, but I find the food is really expensive. The food isn't to greasy and the food is neat and the restaurant is clean, but the only downfall is that it is expensive.

1. Jungle Jim's
This place is horribly expensive, I mean like when I go in there my wallet hurts when I come out. But the food is really good, but I don't really care for how long I have to wait because when ever I go in there I usually have to wait a good half hour for my food. They are really cleanly there, but the wait and the cost are insane. That is what I think of Jungle Jim's.

Creating My Character

The movie I decided to make a character for is Larry the Cable Guy: Witness Protection, the name of the character I have made is Carlos Diego and he is a Mexican and he is suppose to be Larry's friend, but turns out to be a bad guy near the end of the movie.

Carlos Diego has brown hair about shoulder length with blue eyes and he has a face full of freckles. Carlos is about 6 foot 7 inches tall and weighs about 350 pounds. Carlos tricks Larry into being his friend and the stupid idiot Larry is he falls for it with out finding any background information about Carlos to see his history.

At the end of the movie Carlos ends up trying to kill Larry for taking the girl out of the Cadillac Escalade. Then while the FBI is after Larry for taking the girl, Carlos tries to slow Larry down by breaking things on Larry's truck. First by giving him a flat tire then taking parts of Larry's engine in his truck, but little does Carlos know that Larry is a "redneck" and rednecks can fix anything to do with a vehicle in minutes. So Carlos does not slow Larry down very much. In the end Carlos ends up getting locked up because Larry is a cop, and Carlos does not know this and finally Larry learns some back ground history about Carlos and finds out he is a 3rd degree murderer wanted in 7 different states for murder, so Larry ends up trying to lock him up, but does not succeed and Carlos gets away from the law for now and flees back to Mexico where he belongs.

Jumble Story

I have a knife at home it is a hunting knife it is about 6 inches long when the knife is open, the knife is in a case. My father got it for me for my birthday when I was 12 years old. The handle has a picture of two polar bears on it, and it has a gold emblem on the top of the handle. My knife is a folding knife. The case it came with has polar bears on the cover too, the blade of the knife is silver and the handle is blue with the polar bears on it.

Writing Styles (Part 2)

The information I find helpful is that the piece of writing that I am writing needs to be short and straight to the point. The information that is important is that I have to get straight to the point because I usually ramble on and on. Another piece of information that I find helpful for my writing is that I will have to prepare my questions before hand and go through them and after I get the information I will have to read through the document and check for errors in the writing and grammatical errors. I find another piece of information that useful is tho go through the information and see if it makes sense.

Also the information that I found useful was to check and see who you are writing for, check and see the type of audience that you are writing for.

Writing Styles

I have chosen for a sample of new writing, is CBC news (NASA Launches Sun-watching Satellite) and this is a piece of writing I really like because it gets the message over effectively because you can almost tell what will be in the clipping by the heading of the piece of news. The link for the piece of news will be down at the bottom of the post.

I feel this effective because the piece of news is right to the point and that is the type of news that I like. I like this piece of news because it is quite descriptive. I really like the heading of the clipping because the heading is very bold and the print is fairly large. I would my writing like this because I find with my writing I don't get straight to the point I just go on and piece.

Writing Inventory

During my spare time I don't write because writing is not one of my talents I don't like writing, but I will write if I have to, example for school I will. I do have a favorite writer though and his name Peter D. Clark and he writes true paranormal activity stories.

The kind of writing that is easy for my is writing I can relate to, for example Peter D. Clark's writing is writing I can relate to I like reading these types of stories because I know people who have had paranormal experiences and I have had probably two paranormal expeirence s through out my life. The type of writing that is challenging for me is the type of writing the writing that is in an essay format, I find this type of writing challenging because I find it hard to follow and read.

I get my ideas for writing from my mind, but it takes a long period of time for me to get a decent idea that I like, that is why I don't really like writing. I don't have any peice of writing I am currently working on right now, but I just finished a peice of writing two days ago and it is posted on blog.

There is no peice of writing that I am proud of because I am not a good writer. For each assignment I usually produce two drafts, one is the original draft then the second is a revised draft then i usually prduce the good copy of the writing. One particular strength I have as a writer is that I can imagine really quick.

My weakness as a writer is that it takes me a while to come up with an idea to write about if I don't have an idea. I don't have any favorite subjects about writing that I enjoy, because as I said a couple of lines up that it takes me a while to come up with an idea that is decent to write about. One of my goals as a writer this semester is to try and do the best of my ability for writing.

The Trees

As I was snowshoeing through the woods behind my house I suddenly looked over to my right and I saw this image I could not erase form my mind. It was a mixture of white pine and spruce trees.
The feeling that went through my head was a feeling of purity, like my soul was washed free.

This is a very nice scene because there is no movement, and there is nobody around me, it’s just me and the trees. As I keep on snowshoeing I just keep getting this image in my head. As I snowshoe back I stop once more at these same white pine and spruce trees. As I started on my journey I decided to take a walk in through the trees and look out through them to see what the animals see when they look out at me passing by, when I get in the cluster of trees I look out and I see something magnificent, all I see is the glistening snow and white pine and spruce trees. As I start on my way home I stop before I get there to think about this beautiful sight and then I start to wonder what it would be like to live among the beautiful white pine and spruce trees.

When I get home and that night when I go to sleep this is all I can dream about all through out my sleep.
